Skoda Felicia Heater Not Blowing through vents

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and I am having a problem with my Felicia's heater.

The fan is working and sounds as though it's blowing air out but nothing is coming out of the vents inside the car.

Where the heck is the hose situated so I can check it has not come away?

Or any tips on how to easily fix without removing the whole dashboard??

Many thanks,

Steve.:D

the air comes through a hard plasic cowling and cant become disconnected as such, if you are getting nothing i would suggest that the control cable that operates the flap in the air intake has broken, it's a horrible fiddly job and you will need to take out the fan/motor assembly from inside the engine bay, the control cable for the flap comes up the right hand side of the motor iirc(right hand if you are facing the car), it may be that it has just come unhooked or not been reconected after the motor or series resistor has been replaced
