Getting a new to me Vrs

Featured Replies

Hey all,

After selling the Mk1 vrs i will be picking a 2007 Mk2 Vrs up on wednesday, I really hope it's as much fun as the Mk1. When i test drove it it seemed to have nowhere near as much power as my old one but i suppose it is completely standard at the moment. I really hope a remap will bring it up to be as fast or faster than my old car, or am i just dreaming?

Glad you're staying in the family

What power did you have your old one running at? Looking at that spec, you might need a few more bits beyond Stage1 perhaps :)

What colour and options is on the one you're getting?

I never had it on the RR with the current spec but it would have been around 220-225bhp and torque was around 270ft/lb.

My new one is just a basic Vrs with no extras in black.

Good luck with the new purchase, and I hope it gives you as much as the old Mk1 did.
