Fabia Vs Leon (interior space)

Featured Replies

Kids are getting bigger and the Fabia vRS is a bit small on leg room in the back (I'm 6'2"). Will a Leon be bigger inside. The Financial Controller has just autorised a Leon FR diesel providing the kids will fit OK.

I understood Fabia = Ibiza = Polo and Leon = Golf. We already have an Octavia II estate so don't really want another.

Pretty much the same interior dimensions as the Golf

Golf > Leon > Octavia2 are based on the same floorpan, so rear legroom in all three are the same bar minor differences in front seat design.

Yes, the Leon is bigger inside by a useful margin. In fact, interior space is very good. I've gone from Fabia vrs to Leon.

I thought the Octavia floorpan was longer. Hence the cavernous boot in comparison?

AFAIK... correctomundo! Same with the Mk1.

The floorpan IS longer to allow for the bigger boot, but the wheelbase would be more or less the same among all the Golf V/VI platform sharing cars, so the actual interior cabin space between the seats would be of a similar size.

We have both Leon and Fabia vRS and and the Leon is much bigger.
