Nothing is ever simple

Featured Replies

As you know or not as I am quite new, I just purchased a second hand Fabia VRS. Well it stayed overnight at the garage getting new tyres fitted as they arrived late so I still haven't seen it. Had a call from my wife saying it needs a whole new part for the rear washer as its been crushed and also needs a new headlight (bloody marvellous)

So I shall be getting a list of the new parts and emailing the dealership and fingers crossed he doesn't kick off about the 3 month warrenty. It was sooo much easier buying new cars. Dam house taking all my money

Just miffed and wanted to let it out, sorry for the mini rant :rotz:

Bad luck with your car.

I needed a new rear washer jet and cover when i bought mine as they were broken and missing respectively when i picked it up.

Luckily the parts were about £5 from my local main dealer but in my mind the car was in that condition when i viewed it, and when i bought it and signed the paperwork, so calling the garage/warraty claim never crossed my mind.

Might have been different though had the cost of new parts been higher!

Alternatively I did get a Mazda dealer to knock £100 off the price of my previous yellow Ibiza as they repaired a dent and resprayed it to a slightly different shade in the timebetween me test driving and collecting.

Hope your dealer is accomodating

Bit annoying but at least its getting fixed!

Did you buy from a Skoda dealer?

*Update*

Turns out the AC is ok, just blocked as its been empty for quite some time  (Dont think I posted this issue)

New headlight and washer bottle being sent and fitted soon

This month all the above will be done along with 1 more new tyre, discs, pads and new cam belt. Going to have a new car

Other plans are to paint the calipers as my ebay hammerite is waiting and also give the car a thorough clean inside and out. Just need to save for the wheels to be refurbed and think about what to do with the marks on the roof courtesy of the lazy last owner leaving bird muck

I shall post some pics to show the damage as I know someone else wanted to see it in another section

Didn't the dealer have it cleaned and valeted before selling?
