Would FL bumpers fit an pre-fl 07 octavia?

Featured Replies

As title really. Particularly the new VRS front bumper.

I know where there is an FL car that's had a head on and doesnt look repairable, and I fancy the rear bumper, get it stripped and resprayed for mine.

Early birds always catch the worm mate ;) Worth a few quid to try it perhaps?

But if I hack off the upturn that would cuddle the new (hideous) lights, then that'd work - wouldnt it?

Your probably inviting more trouble for yourself than it's worth. It would be an **** to get right and you would have to manufacture the fixings as well near the edges because im hazarding a guess that there are some around the area of the upturn.

Maybe see if you can get the whole wings if they are not damaged. That might work better. But then you would need the *hideous* lights as you put it.

I thought you said it had had a head on, hence the front bumper has had it anyway? In your OP, you said it was just the rear one you were thinking about?

As an aside, if you wanted to fit an FL front bumper, you'd also have to fit the FL grille and FL wings and lights.

I think the FL rear bumper is the same as the older vRS bumper so it may be a direct swap.
