Do you use it, and why?

For me its just the fact i don't turn it off.

Sometimes go through a stage where I turn it off but usually forget after a couple of days. Don't usually see it light up anyway unless it's slippy on the roads.

mine just gets left on, I very rarely have it cut in these days, even when driving like an a*se. and it isn't especially intrusive anyway

:)

If it's just me in the car then I turn it off. If the wife and children are in the car I leave it on as spirited driving isn't an option.

Always on as I very rarely feel it intruding on my driving. Way to many possibilities where it might save you life if something unaccounted for happened. But OFF for track work.

Always off for myself, 1st person to click it... oppps! The TC comes in before the A.T.B diff can work its magic, so just turn it off!

does yours have ASR or ESP? mine has ESP and I've found the traction control pretty much doesn't cut in since the diff was fitted, it was never very harsh/intrusive before

Nope, just TC on mine mate. Coming out of a corner for example, the TC will cut in before the A.T.B Diff can do its work, so its not worth having on as just gets me into trouble when I plant it, and just understeer like before the diff was fitted!

ah right, so long as I'm not in totally the wrong gear mine just grips and goes under those sort of circumstances so there's no need to switch off the ESP

:)

Mines ALWAYS off. Not by choice mind. Just the person who bought my car from the factory decided against that option.

At first I was unsure if it had it. Then after a short trip 180 degrees into the edge a field on a greasy road i realised it hadnt. And just before people accuse me of boyracerism, i wasnt speeding and blame the two different budget tyres on the back and my "enthusiasm" around a bend. :(

If I had traction control it would always be on except for track use as others have said.

I reckon you're confusing traction control with ESP

:)
