Was around by Elvington airfield today and it would seem that there was a bit of a Jaguar day going on. Don't know if it was official or not but there were official jaguar sings up etc.

Anyway was parked near the exit and watched a procession of VERY nice XK, XK-R, XJ and XJ-R's driving past... man they sound gorgeous! Heard them on the runway too... sounded like thinder.

Anyway after then leaving and following a couple down the road I worked out where they were all dissapearing off to for a few minutes each... the petrol station! :P

The station must have been making a killing that day as there was a lot of them all going down in convoy quite regularly and at 107p per litre :eek:

Ah how the other half live eh!?

There was also 10 of the best on, on sunday, lots of Japanese cars on the sunday, imagine the fuels stations delights on sunday

Someone from work has a brand new XF & he told me a couple of weeks ago he was off to a Jag customer shindig at Elvington, he'd got his name down for tracktime in an R version.
