In Car Stereo Recomendations

Featured Replies

Hi Chaps!

I have a 54 plate Fabia VRS I and am looking to get a new in car stereo as the symphony ones aint so great.. A couple of things I would prefer are:

- DAB Radio

- Excellent signal (I drive from West Yorks to Inverness frequently and 80% of the time I don't have a clear signal or one at all...)

- Ipod connectivity.

- Sat Nav.

Could anyone make any recommendations based on what they've seen/bought themselves? Moneywise would spend up to £300 I guess.... I may look at speakers as well within the next 6 months.

in halfords for eg theres unlimited choice...£180 buys as good as anything...

If you find a decent headunit with built in satnav for £300 make sure you shout at the roof tops for us all. ;)

Wouldnt mind one myself but they all seem to be funny money!

You can get a 5220BT Pioneer unit which is a double din, DVD, satnav & ipod connectivity with an AV cable for the ipod. They retail about £780 - but i just did a price match at work (Halfords) with another retailer selling them at £469

soz didnt see the sat nav bit...:(

Thanks for the suggestions so far chaps.

I've never had any problems finding my way about so perhaps the Sat Nav is a little overkill... Especially if it pushes the price up that much ;)
