Lightning in English bay from my balcony.

Featured Replies

I'm excited..........I have always wanted to capture lightning and last night i got the perfect chance with an immense electrical storm over English Bay. I was already excited about seeing the fireworks, the lightning storm and the fireworks from an amazing vantage point was more than i could ask for. These are all straight off the camera and resised for uploading.. Taken on a Canon G10 compact :)

Tha last one, lightning and fireworks - nice timing!

What was your technique for the lightning - taking lots of shots on rapid fire or trying to catch it with cat-like reactions? Or does the G10 have a 'bulb' mode?

Amazing photo's - thanks for sharing them!
