hi.

I need to tighten up the fanbelt as the battery light is on at idle.

I can see the top bolt on the alternator but is there another adjustment bolt?

Looking under the car,it looks like the tray needs to be removed to access the other bolts,is this right?

There should be another bolt at the bottom for adjustment, I'm not sure about it's placement but it should be 13mm. Also it might be better off replacing the belt too as it may never have been changed during the life of the car and the rubber may have degraded.

Do I need to remove the undertray to get to it?

Manoeuvre your tools well and you'll manage it without getting underneath. Can't remember the sizes but there's a big long bolt at the bottom of the alternator, and the small obvious one right on the top which is where the adjustment is made.
