DV question

Featured Replies

I've just refitted the standard DV too the car whilst servicing the forge one.

Whats the differnce as the car seems a little sluggish, smoother yes but not so aggresive if that makes sense :)

Just a ponder more than an issue as the forge one goes back on as soon as the rain stops long enough :D:D

Probably because the standard one is slower to release the excess pressurised air, which means it starts to stall the compressor and you get more lag. To be honest my standard one feels fine (and is as noisy as a Forge one ) but then I've never driven a car with a Forge one that hasn't been modified in some other way so can't compare like for like with mine.

The standard one is definatley quieter. I can't even here it at the moment although it has been chucking down rain for two days.

They arn't the loudest with a paper filter in but they do gain a bit of noise with the panel filter ime.

Subtle though ......which I like. After all I am getting on a bit:rotz:

The Forge is probably more responsive. Due to better design, and a better quality/matched spring.

What spring and boost pressure are you running? Green is the standard one for standard boost. Yellow is for 15psi to 23 etc.
