Im on holiday, left handbook at home. A flashing spanner appears when I turn on - what does it mean please?

Service due i think , normally comes on 1000 miles before service due and counts down each time you start her up .

Thanks - Its supposed to have been serviced when I bought it a couple of months ago at a non Skoda dealer - they obviously didn't know how to set it if they did the service......

It'll keep till I get home anyway

Cheers

I thought it meant that someone was exposing his tool in the distance

You are meant to stop you car for pedestrians when you see a green man flashing...

What if it's a little green man from Mars? I'd call the news channel then.

I suspect that one or two people might get excited about being flashed by a green man!

You'll be quite happy to know that I'm NOT one of them.

It means youve left your tool kit at home too.

it means you have not taken the time to read the handbook...........take a few minutes to do this.....could save you a fortune if something serious starts to flash!
