.....Ed Moore the organiser (and giver of "hilarious" welcome speech)

I must've missed that ;):D

When Mr Moore stated "turn to the person on your left and embrace them warmly" and I was faced with a pretty bonde lady, I did get a rather discontented look from the chap stood two places to my left whose significant other she appeared to be :rofl::rofl:

Ed might be worth mentioning that next time we book anyhting see if theres a "fun" discount available

Definitely! A 10% discount at Colerne for another bunch of fabias and the odd Octy would be well worth it.

The prices are already quite heavily discounted and the incentive of free track tuition is, I believe, as far as they will go. You won't find a much better track day anywhere else for less than £100. :)

And he knew why there were so many Skodas because I spoke to him about the group booking at the very beginning :D

I'd like to add my thanks to Ed & Jason for the day & dignostic help & also include Beckz for trying to dig herself out of a hole that doesn't exist!! Had a great day, only spoilt by the nearly 5 hours journey home, so my early departure wasn't quite full steam ahead!

Beryl is currently in dry dock awaiting some servicing and investigative work of systems & noises by Cap't Leesman & 1st Mate Eyebrow...........Keep asking myself whether we should've loaded everything into Beryl & I could've borrowed the keys for the support vehicle? I'm a bad passenger Jason, get travel sick in anything, especially if I overheat! Nothing to do with your driving, would've loved to see you take the red Italian car tho!! Great pictures guys, thanks for a great day.

FPMSL :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

LOL glad to be of service, land lubber! !

forgot to mention that after a full session of hooning around track I was more than happy with the 18-19mpg that was recorded especially as a lot of that was flat out (mostly the straights not the corners ;))

Also that while my other half was stood taking the above pictures by the (inflatable) signing on tent Ed Moore the organiser (and giver of "hilarious" welcome speech) approached her stating that "as she got out of one of the Fabias she must know why there were so many Skoda here today" a quick explanation of the Briskoda effect and she was told that "we should come more often as we are great fun!"

Yeah! Ed likes "Fun".

......ended up with me retiring with a busted car :o

**** UPDATE ****

Right then, car has been into the garage today, passed an MOT (which was due anyways) who needs a feline ;)

The low speed rotary grating noise was the NSF wheel loose   there is also a suspected cream crackered drive shaft so that is being stripped and inspected tomorrow.

For my sins I am pootling around in a P plate Purple Polo 1.4 auto :o

Did the knocking repeat itself after doing up the nuts tight again? :)

Dunno, the garage told me about the wheel bolts when I rang them earlier :o.

I haven't moved the car since I came home on Friday evening as I've had a busy weekend.

If you become stuck I have a complete 2nd hand, good nick nearside driveshaft. Although, to be honest, I really should keep it as spares for myself. :D

Here's some video of the day shot by Beckz0308 and Pastyboy on my camcorder:)

Apologies for the poor HD quality, but I just did a very quick conversion to get the vid done quicker :o
