What colour to use on Stock vRS rims

Featured Replies

I am thinking of having my rims powder coated in a different shade rather than the stock alloy/silver.

1. Do I go for a gunmetal grey look (a la renaultsport)

2. Motorsport white

3. A shiney black (like I have seen on some Fabias on here)

The car is Corrida red so I think either black or white would suit it very well, just not sure on the gunmetal grey.

Alternativly I was looking at some 17'' BBS or Team Dynamics rims but havent seen any going cheaply.

White and Black are both nightmares to keep looking clean... black attracts the dust and well white is pretty self explanatory...

Anthracite however never needs cleaned.... Result :D

i ve just had my done in white and i think they look awesome! Get them done mate!

White for me too. I wish I had done it to mine while I had it.

Gunmetal for me. Stay cleaner looking longer.

Be different, go white! You dont see it too often. ;)

Black or gunmetal on a red car.

Here are mine ready to go on...

Obviously they look "wetter" in the metal.

spelling

gunmetal imo

100% Gun metal from me!

Would be sweet if you could get some red accents in there as well.

Mine are also Anthracite however I've always like dwhite wheels on a red car - rally style :D

Obviously they look "wetter" in the metal.

WHEEL PORN!:eek: OMG! Red satin sheets? Low Lighting? Wetter in the metal? Am I the only person seeing this????:rofl:

I would say either white or the BBS :D The black I think need a red lip or something on them or they just look lost in the arches IMHO, the anthracite looks ok but not great on a red car.
