Now Fitted my Limited Edition Badge

Featured Replies

Quick pic as it's getting dark but i was out detailing the new car and had a chisel to hand so decided to throw on the new badge.

Process was:

wipe down surrounding paintwork

carefully line up some masking tape to ensure you put the new badge back on in same place (level and square)

Get chisel and clean microfibre cloth and wrap point of chisel in cloth!

Slip point of chisel under edge of badge and pull towards you. (dont try to push the chisel into the adhesive.)

you'll probably just stretch the adhesive but once you;ve pulled the badge far enough grab ithwith your fingers and get rid of the chisel

pull the badge off.

clean up the adhesive residue.

peel backing off new badge and line up with masking tape

stick it down

peel off masking tape.

stand back and admire the rear end of your car how it should be.
