Interesting air vent for demisting the side window. Have they changed it for the facelift or was it a necessary mod for the window angle?

There's one of those new Mk1 golfs by me that someone must have imported.

Its about 4 years old now but still a very odd site on the road.

It's a bit like the Alfa vents.

It looks amazing, and i did a conversion (rupee to quid) for price and tell me if im wrong but its 1100 quid.

What engine is in it, are they still building the older style engines?

If you notice the dash is actually cut in half length ways just so it'd fit. Look at that gearlever, look like it came out of a truck.

In Rand to pound the top model (with alloys, CD and gadgets) is just under 8 grand.

Not a huge bargain considering how safe a 30 year old design will be.
