Just test drove a Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

First impressions are very good. My current car is a 2002 Mondeo Zetec Sport, and I thought nothing could handle better, but intrestingly contrary to what people say about the Fabia vRS, I thought it had a good feel and very good in gear acceleration from 1500rpm upwards (which is unknown in my TDCi). After much summising, I have decided to get one, Metallic Black Paint.

I want Cruise, ESP, Heated Seats & Passenger Deactivation Airbag switch and side airbags. tins.co.uk has quoted

Just went on Micronet Showroom, and a vRS with no options selected, just factory standard is

I'm not sure that retro-fitting Xenons is a trivial task, what with 11,000 volts and the associated electronics. I'm glad I paid the extra for the factory-fit ones on mine - I think they really are worth it (though others may disagree).

Have you tried www.drivethedeal.com yet? Not sure if they can beat 'tins' but I used them to source my car and was very pleased with the service. I made a saving of 1,300 and I had quite a few options.

Why dont you just get the Xenons with the build as the prices I have seen for retro kits + hassle and probable problems along the way surely just paying the factory price would be worth it.

Also I had to wait almost ten full weeks for mine because of the options but 980 miles later it was worth the wait. :P

Xenons have a start up voltage of 28kv (28,000 volts) so watch them fingers.

Also Xenon 'kits' as they call them that replace the standard bulb with a Xenon tube are in my view dangerous, they dont have the correct projector in the lamp so dont give off the correct beam pattern and with no wash or leveling facility they are illegal anyhow.

But ona lighter note, welcome and enjoy :)

But 10,300 otr, thats unbeatable.

I'd advise a search on here for micronet, I've personally heard bad things about them in the past in the press.
