i know its a silly question to ask but how do i remove the roof ariel off my roomster ?

it just keeps turning then goes down flat

my son has bought me a smaller ariel thought i would try that

Pull it hard after unscrewing

Guess it's the same as the Octavia II aerial?! :confused: It's an anti-theft measure. If you yank it upwards hard enough, apparently it will come off - but breaks the anti-theft "ball bearing" holding it in..

It will screw back in afterwards but does make it easier if some thieving scroat wants to nick it.

Why do you need to take it off anyway? ...for car washes etc, I just unscrew mine, lay it flat & tighten it back up in the flat position. <prepares for verbal battering for using car washes>
