I want to take the shine off the top of my Forge FMIC (I want to make it look more standard)

I was wondering if I could either spray it or maybe cover it in something?

It's only the top edge I want to dull down a bit, maybe I could just take the shine off with some wire wool?

Any suggestions would be great

id have said by painting it you will add a lyer of insulation and reduce the ability to cool it. i wouldnt touch the IC, maybe some form of mesh in front of it to obscure it from view maybe!!

just paint it matt black , there wont be a problem doing that
