Hi all, have recently bought a Black '54 plate VRS Fabia, it has done just shy of 70k and the paintwork is as you would expect, a bit chippy with general wear and tear on most panels, Chips Away would rip me a new one with the amount of little marks on it so I started to think a respray might be in order to sort the lot out in one hit....

What would be a fair price and could anybody recommend a suitable bodyshop who would not take advantage, I aim to keep this car for a while so am happy to spend a few quid on it, but it still has to be reasonable to be worthwhile.

Am enjoying it loads, has a 2.0 Vw Bora before, and this little black car goes like stink in comparison. Took me a couple of weeks to get used to the surge of power.

nice one mate, my dad was the same with his vrs, we had a neighbour who baught a proper flash bmw, and wanted everyone to know about it, my dads usualy a slow driver, but he destroyed him once when he was around our country roads following, and even down the A610 he was struggling. My dad needed a book for all the people that tried it on with him
