Hill Holder

Featured Replies

Guys

The wait for my new VRS is driving me nuts and I'm immersing myself in the world of Octy II VRS as much as possible!!

One question that I can't seem to find an answer on is does the manual 170CR have a hill holder fitted as standard?

My Punto HGT has it and its really useful. I've kinda got used to having it an I'm a liottle worried the new car won't have it. Fiat use the brake light switch and traction control to implement so I would think its a relativly simple thing to offer..............

Hill hold not in UK spec for VRS I'm afraid

Thats not good - most annoyed as its a cracking feature, especially down here in Brighton where we have the odd hill or two!

Bugger!

Just have to use what the rest of us have used for years i.e. the Handbrake :D

Guys I AM that excited about the car!! Tonight I picked up a hire car because I've sold the Pasta Rocket (Punto Multijet HGT with 150BHP remap) and got £1200 more than Motorpoint was going to give me and it all seems to be getting very real! The worst part is I've got to wait until the 1st Sept........:(

Seriously I can't wait!!

Oh and it will have some "Extra Sticky Rubber" fitted ASAP!!!
