Rear brakes - MOOOO!

Featured Replies

What was the make and model of pad needed for the rear to stop the mooing?

I can't find it using the search

Thanks lads

Not the genuine ones lol.

As i found after 3 years of no mooing. Then the cows arrived with the OE pads.

They bought out chamfered-edged versions of the OEM pads (not sure on the part number) which supposedly cure the moo-ing but I'm sure I've seen a couple of posts by members on here who have the chamfered-edged pads fitted and still have the mooing.

I'm fitting Mintex rear discs and pads before Xmas so will see if that improves things. Will also be checking the operation of the handbrake mech on the calipers as this was what was causing problems for Bodge.

Yup! I'm finally moo-less!

Only problem is now I have to look out for people when I'm reversing, before they all just ran for cover.
