Featured Replies

As I'm finally getting my Origin B2 fitted on Wednesday, I've been thinking of getting an LRC100 to go with it, clicky

Just wondered if anyone else had one? is so is it any good? and where have you mounted it?

I know someone with one, although I suspect the police might pull you over anyway if they can't get a lock on you with a laser gun. Pretty sure laser jammers are illegal and I suspect they'd throw the book at you, if they couldn't book you for speeding, when they found it.......

they can get a lock on you after 5 seconds, enough time to slow down. Its the safety camera van and the new motorbike cams that worry me, and they aren't going to pull you over if they cannot get a lock!

No, but they might well radio ahead that they are unable to get a lock on your car..leading to a physical stoppage and inspection.

Very illegal..... in Ireland they charge you with "Obstructing the course of justice" if caught with a jammer

they've got another use though, you can use them to open your electric garage door with, thats why i'm getting one :D

Wonder if anyone has actually been done for having one?

The law decided to make the use of this device an offence to use. It has now been over took by the LT450. (remote control garage door opener or for use with operating external lights.

Personally I am loking at the Snooper SLD920.

Snooper SLD920.

why the sld920?

I have fitted the Blinder M10 (AKA Snooper SLD 920) on one car' date=' it was a pig to fit because of the jammer size and the style of the car, it was also noticed after 50k miles that one unit had leaked water and because of this it failed. They also require careful fitting and are less forgiving if fitted slightly wrong.[/i']

Judging by the possible sentence they carry, you may have to eventually change your sig to "Visit me if you can..." :)

it's a good idea in someways but giving the pro's and con's it probably best if you just keep you speed down.

I didn't think a legal precedent had yet been set for laser jammers?

it hasn't! Most police forces don't even know when they've been jammed.

The LRC100 actually works very well but install a switch so you can turn it off for general day to day driving.

The LRC100 has been replaced. Heard the LE30 is the one to go with.
