Featured Replies

hi all, i am getting shocking mpg from my 03 VRs octavia, 25-27 and thats driving it steady. any one else got one and what are you getting. i know they aint great but think this is bad. also has anyone had vacuum pipe issues as i think this may cause the lambda probe to see lean mixture and cause it to run rich???...also v slight misfire on idle and light throttle, air leak again poss????

many thanx

steve

i get 35+mpg from mine on normal driving,i can get 38+mpg on a motorway run,it does sound like yours has some problems that need rectifying, you may find when your faults are fixed the economy comes back! ive only ever seen low 20,s mpg once & that was after a hard drive down some backroads!:)

on normal driving i get around 33mpg and when i boot it i get around 25 which isnt too bad i dont think!!

Round town :- 27- 30 mpg

Motorway :- 36 - 38+ mpg (70mph)
