totaly strange radio problem

Featured Replies

hi the original radio in my vrs wouldnt play cds but radio was fine so i purchased a new auto changer this played the cds but with a crackly sound.so i purchased a cheapy of ebay for £35 this played cds perfect but radio sound was crap fine when stationery but when driving about realy poor quality. So i took this out and put original one back in now the original one is faulty no friggin radio sound at all now where at first perfect.I tried the one of ebay back in and thats still same plays radio but bit crackly so there is still some sort of signal but when i put the skoda original in seems like no signal ata all. ps the purchased of ebay is an in dash player not skoda original so is there anyone knows where im going wrong cheers guys

I was going to suggest the cable that runs to the cd changer from the dash first off as I had this problem with a JVC. Im unsure why the radio would stop working on the original Skoda H/U. If the aerial is pushed in the back ok I don't see why it would work again.
