Just bought a 56 plate Fabia vrs a few weeks ago, very impressed - unfortunately already on my second turbo, i just heard a pop, it lost power, filled the exhaust with oil and left a massive smoke screen behind which was luckily on warranty.

Are these turbos a bit sentimental, as i had a Golf Tdi for 3 years and never had a problem?

Ha yes, thanks. There are quite a few people writing with blown turbos or pipes disconnecting. Does anyone know if it's a common fault or just bad luck?
