I want to put a leather knob on my Elegance, but having a bit of a bugger finding one as they are no longer available from Skoda and no breakers I've called have one. Is it possible to prise the shift pattern from a vRS knob and replace it with the chrome item from my Elegance? Is it the same size and all?

Have you checked Ebay? I'm sure there were a few on there for the VRS ones...

I think they're the same shape and size but not 100% sure...oh, wait.., hang on, I've just had a thought........

Got mine (last car) for less than 20 on ebay.. they do still pop up but not as much as they used to. Much like the leather handbrake cover on that front.

However, they have genuine vRS pedals sets for €17! that's silly cheap!

Can't make that meet unfortunately as busy that weekend. Should deffo get to a meet soon though as I can't drive a motor of this spec without shouting about it! :D
