IAMS = for cats.

IAM = Institute of Advanced Motorists (but don't bother with them, head for Rospa, as you seem to have found out already :D)

I'm sure the short route we did would be quite interesting at night - hopefully with less wildlife ;)

Let us know how you get on with Thames Valley RoSPA - I'm sure you'll enjoy it and I see their new course starts on Tuesday :D:rofl:

Chris

dont think i will get on that course now have sent them an email with my details to join so await the response..:thumbup:

iams :rofl::rofl: silly bugger

wildfowl like the bird that rebounded off my bumper and the 6 pheasents waiting inthe middle of the road around that corner lol im sure you paid them to be there lol :P

Wished I could have got to this, due to work and other things outside of it could not manage to pop down, maybe next time through!

For anybody who fancies advanced driving tasters, Chris and I live within 40 minutes or so of each other. If you can make Wiltshire/Hampshire/Avon/Somerset, we have a good range of coaches we can lay on for you. Chris's official taster days are the "public" end of what's available. Aside from that, any of us will be happy to go for a drive with "tastees" pretty much any time that's mutually convenient. PM Chris or me, if you're tempted to dip your toe in the water, and we'll sort you out.

sounds good to me i did talk to chris about doing another one in a few weeks and he mentioned we should meet up with you and maybe swap over etc etc...

loved it cant believe how bad i must have been to start with have learnt so much and have already made a big improvement....hopefully i can only get better so chris send me some dates when you wanna go out again for a spin:D

p.s your still insured lol :rofl:

Just to add to Nick's post, the tasters are FREE and all it will cost you is the petrol/diesel you use on the day :D

A lot of the time the basics are there and it's just a case of being pointed in the right direction and getting you to see, hear, and feel the difference. I think focussing on cornering is a good starting point for this and as a by-product there's a lot of grinning and swearing ;) I'll see if I can sort out a few dates - we might also get SMS along too if we head north a bit (Newbury?) :D

p.s your still insured lol :rofl:

Risky, very risky :rofl:

Davy next time you down give me a shout, maybe if you can make it down to the oxon camp in just over a week i could show you then ;)
