What's the best way to remove sticky residue from body work?

Hi all!

Ya know that sticky stuff Skoda use to put the lettering on the back of the car with?

Is there an easy / effective method for removing it so that it doesnt leave a mark on the paint work?

I have WD40! ;o) I can try that then lol!

You could try AS tardis or AG tar remover.

petrol works as well. got to put a fair bit on till it goes mushy looking then it just peels of in bits,

Autoglym tar remover or if you're a pikey like me surgical spirit and a microfibre cloth works well enough.
