Has anyone on here installed a 3pod in dash guage mount in the gap below the HU?

Question...

Is the gap defo a single din (since the HU is slightly bigger, from what i can gather from the search function)?

Dont think it'd be a problem with an after market single din head unit. But with the standard unit . . . might be an issue?!?

thinking about it, if i remember correctly, The actual hole over all is double din. The std headunit is a tad bigger, but only around the edges, by a few mm deep. So the actual hole is double din, so u take the little cubby hole out from under the headunit and its din size.

It's definately din. My radio has lived in both the top and bottom slots.

found this from an old thread! it looks very swish and snug and will fit the fabia perfectly
