ive search on here and got no luck with the topic

i need to remove the steering wheel as ive got a replacement one but the haynes manual is really c*ap to be honest

has anyone removed it and if so how could they share there expertise

You need to use a long flat headed screwdriver in the 2 holes that are exposed by turning the wheel 90 degrees from centre each way to release the airbag. You do this one at a time above the steering column. Once released return the wheel to the centre and disconnect the battery before removing the airbag. The wheel is then removed with a M12 spline drive.

thank for that the manual doesnt mention anything about a flat blade should of tryed that really and again thanks
