Refurb alloys.

Featured Replies

What should i do with my tt comps? Powder coat or shot blast? What is best for keeping them nice? Im not going down the polish route, they have been polished before and then laquered but the laquer has started to peel, wheels only cost me £97 with tyres and centre caps but tyres need replacing and wrong size, they are for keeps this time.

I know people who have used sand blasted and powder coated different sets of wheels and both had good results. Comes down to cost I guess...

I went for ghost chrome over black on my spiders. The paint the whole wheel black and the spray chrome over just the front face which creates a shadow effect.

Pics below don't show anything like the full effect (and yes I know, get it lower!)

^^ looks nice

Is that the Fabia Scout?

The lighting is a bit bad on this pic but this was done by the wheel specialist and its the Charcoal / Anthracite colour which I think it's a smart finish.

This is their process
