Autocar take Yeti off road

Featured Replies

Although only a couple of shots, first I have seen of a UK Yeti Elegance (Spitzberg alloys & running lights).

That looks like fun.

Conforting to know then if it does get a bit slippery or flooded on the roads that it is pretty capable of trundling along.

Would have been good of them to put some more pictures on though.

It's growing on me is the Yeti just like the vRoomster has.

I think Skoda are going to shift their UK Snow-monster (as it now appears to have been christened) allocation of 3000 quite quickly.

And I suspect residuals will be pretty good for the sector, so it'll make a sound private buy. Although not exactly cheap, it sufficiently undercuts Tiguans & Kugas etc to make you wonder what you get for the extra money that the VW or Ford would cost.

Spoke about this type of diving with the chap demonstrating the LHD snow monster locally.

I understand he is or was involved with motor-sport, suggested that it would be best to opt for the rough road pack (steel under-tray / sump guard) if you intended going off-road or crossing water etc. as the standard plastic under-trays are likely to get pulled off.

That's what it's for!
