How good are your windscreen washers? I've been adjusting the aim of mine in order to hit some bird poo.:(Mine are not very impressive and seem to produce a v shaped spray rather than a general flat spray. Been like that from new, 2500 miles ago, so unlikely to be blocked as yet.

Try cleaning the rectangular jet holes with a tooth brush dipped in warm vinegar/water. Dont forget new cars can be standing around ages prior to delivery so its not inconceivable for deposits to have distorted the orifice shape. Worth a try anyway and has worked for me on several occassions.
