Say goodbye to your life for a few weeks. :D

Looking forward to going on 512kb broadband at the end of the month - I might look at 1MB too, but not sure - a) not sure my area can do it, B) not sure my PC could cope with such a quick d/l speed.

Watch out for capped services at this price - can't d/l too many movies before you get to the 1Gb cap.

Eclipse do a 'Flex' service that gives 512k unmetered for

Definately something you should be aware of.

Just after my village was enable back in August( 512k) I was fortunate to be accepted as a beta tester for a soon to be released MMORPG by probably the biggest online games publisher, the download was nearly 2.5 Gigabytes and subsequent patches has all been in the region of 100-150MB !

well worth it though

With plusnet you can get an uncapped 2mb line for 39.99 or you can choose to have it capped to between 2-10 gb for different prices. They also do 512 and 1mb lines too with uncapped or the option to cap it for differing prices.Have been tempted myself.

Plusnet

I'm with plusnet.... they rock..... couldn't do without the unlimited bandwidth.... this month so far I've downloaded 50gb worth of stuff :D

On 512 at the moment but think I'm gonna go to 1Mb after crimbo
