Sunday moding day & pics

Featured Replies

well thanks to this forum, ive only had the car a couple of months and the bug is back, but only in a small way,for now!!!

and just wanted to thank the forum for all its help, and how too's and pic by pic guides..very nice so much so that even i could do these mods,so anyone that wants to try them,go for it if i can do it anyone can!!!

so to start i got some 15mm spacers for the front and some 20mm spacers for the back, then it was time to take the bumper off for the first time, and i must say how easy it was thanks to this forum.. wanted to replace the crack fog light, but was sold the wrong one!! doh....

while the bumper was off i fitted the cupra splitter once againg thanks to this forum....

then the easyest job of all was to replace the rear number plate with the new german pressed plate uk style....very nice:D

then while the bumper was off i thought i would take out the drivers side fog to see if i get more air flow into the intercooler....

i had already sprayed the front grill and fitted the pd150 trumpet, and de-bagded her..

and before anyone says you need to lower it,i know.....but liveing in london with so many humps!!!!

anyway thanks to this forum now heres some pics....

A good few popular mods - Done well.

Top work. :D

That's looking good is that, nice work

And really clean too :thumbup::)

in the photos you've posted the car has both front and rear badges

must say it does look mint though, even with the badges!

Where is the Fabia vRS badge on the back?:o

I have to say I think it looks a bit odd with spacers on std suspension. Seems to make it even more obvious how high the std setup sits?

Sorry, I do like the rest of what you've done though :o

:iagree:

Agree a good start made! I work in London and have mine lowered on Eibach dampers and springs, the drop is only about 30mm so dont have a problem if I split the bumps.

John

mines on coilovers, rears all the way, fronts to match, when i go to london, feck me its a pain lol.

i noticed you have got a pressed plate on the back, but you havent got one on the front why is this?

regarding the plate im ordering the front 1 this month ;)

the 20mm spacers i took off the rear, was a problem with the hub collor, plus they looked a little much,

and shes staying on stilts as long as i live in london:P takes the humps very sweet...any lower and kiss goodbye sump..the way of the world...of couse it looks so much better on coilovers.but a price i will have to pay...

.and the olny bagdes i took off were the "fabia" and "vrs" on rear..

Looks odd with one foglight, why didn't you remove them both?
