2 fans

Featured Replies

My 1.8 non turbo with A/C Octavia has 2 cooling fans, a small one one the drivers side and a larger on the passenger side. The smaller has seized solid and been like it for a couple of years. The car never over heats, not even on the hottest days or indeed a 2 week summer drive in Southern Spain. The A/C works. Everything is normal. What is the role of the 2 seperate fans? Haynes does not mention them, it talks in the singular.

one is for your radiator cooling and the second is for your a/c

wouldnt worry to much if its all worked fine. when your main fan comes on it will cool the a/c coil anyway:thumbup:

just means you wont go as low on the temp at first thats all

i'll 2nd the above post!
