Just paid for my new Octavia VRS tdi. :thumbup:Collect it tommorrow. Can't wait!

Got it in performance blue! Yawn! But I do like it! Got it with Xenon's rear parking sensors and some other bits.

Needed something that was quick and economical but with space for 4 adults.

Any thing I should know or be concerned about? Was looking at getting chipped.

Has anyone got any recommendations or had any problems?

Welcome. Good choice. I thought mine was the only race blue one...seems not ! Beware of the DPF (diesel particulate filter)...needs a good blast every now and then. No doubt others will be along shortly with their thoughts....

Ive had no issues with my car (Octy PD VRS estate) during 20K miles. Ive done a few mods to mine too. My advice is that it really depends how you feel after driving the car awhile and whether you feel any mods are worth having despite their downsides (if they have any) such as worse mpg, higher insurance , harder ride etc. Hence the value of a site like this to discuss mods pros and cons. Ive not regretted any mods that Ive picked up from Briskoda.
