Powergasket genuine opinions?

Anybody actually used one and noted any difference, I spoke to a tuner today who RR'd before and after fitting one to a Leon 20vT and noticed no discernable difference, just wondered if anyone had a 'real world' opinion of them anyway as I need a new gasket anyway?

i have one fitted and they do what they say stop heat transfer to the inlet mannifold. feel the lower part of the manni without it when hot and its warm but cold when this is fitted:thumbup: i doubt you will see much gain if any really. well worth it i say:thumbup:

its not a bolt on power gain thats for sure but will help with keeping the inlet temp down wont be able to see that really on a rolling road.

so instead of dispersing the heat evenly throughout the engine it's all retained in the cylinder head right?? :wonder:

yep as you dont want heat transfer to the inlet manni when searching for power...

the head is more than capable of cooling itself via the coolant system thats why they have it.

what is your point do you disagree????

Been thinking about getting one of these for a while as the last time my car was on the rollers, it was suffering from quite a bit of heatsoak.

Question is, which gasket do I need for an AUQ engine, small or large port?

think id live with the heat soak rather than cooking the head :p then again bet it wouldnt make much difference
