Dunno if it's of use to anyone, but its worth a try. I have a recently (last few months) reconditioned TRW steering rack for a Fabia (up to 2004 I think). I got it fitted, but it leaked and I got my money back.

I think its leaking from the bango joint(?) - see pictures, and the seals. It's of no use to me anymore, as I have a new Skoda part fitted, (£500 at cost!:eek:), so I am offering it for free to anyone on here.

It's this thats leaks the most, with the others just weaping.

*Edit* I believe its the pinnion thats leaking, (as per first picture) not the bango joint as I believe that part of the car.

I am based in Aylesbury (roughly 20 minutes from Hemel Hampsted and Wycmobe), but travel to Oxford daily. Free to whoever wants it, open to collection, or postage at your cost, or can deliver within reasonable distances.
