I have a 2004 plate Fabia Vrs and I have purchased an upgrade bulb set. I am interested in how you can change these without removal of the front bumper or under engine protection plate. I have read a few threads but they are not totally clear. They do mention working from the rear side of the bumper and a cut out. I would be greatful for any advice.

I'm not sure if this will help you as there appears to be 2 versions of the Vrs front bumper/foglight.

Mine is the older version and is a 54 plate.

It can be done in situ with a lot of swearing and arm getting scratched. All you really need to do is pull off the grill surround and reach back and fiddle with the fog lamp cover till it comes off.

Sorry mate it's defo a bumper off job.

The O/S is poss in situ using harsh language and a torch & mirror.

The N/S is damned near impossible due to the twin horns and washer bottle, Even coming in via the wheel arch.
