Hi all,

Well I am picking up a car on Friday, after viewing a lot of cars in my price-range I settled on an X reg Felicia Estate. it was by far the most solid-feeling and most looked-after car I viewed.

My situation has been dire over the last 4 and a half months due to being laid off. I finally got accepted for a job but it's in a difficult area to get to and I don't trust public transport to get me there on time (if at all!) so my parents kindly stepped in and helped me get a car in a budget of £1300 (paying them back asap of course, heh).

I've seen rave reviews and heard a lot of good things about the Felicia and Skodas in general, so I was more than happy to snap this one up!

I've a feeling I'll love this car and drive it for a long time to come, hence the joining the forum.

I only really have one reservation about Skodas, and I'm really sorry to say it, but the logo isn't doing anything for me, never has, heh. I'm the kind of person who appreciates an aesthetically pleasing logo and unfortunately I find Skodas logo quite boring, so if anyone here can point me in the direction of a good badge-less grill or a tutorial to replace it with something more pleasing to the eye, then please do let me know!

Well, here she is, my Felicia estate. Really impressed with how she pulls actually, was surprised that a 1.3 could pull that much car that quickly.

Aye that guy usually has a couple of VW Campers of all different ages and styles on his drive, and his mates are all owners too so my parents get quite a collection of nice examples in their road from one week to the next, heh. He once had a Beetle Dune Buggy, it was huge! Was Purple with yellow wheels and hoofing great bull bars on the front, heh.
