Fabia Vrs SE Fault Can ne1 HELP??

Featured Replies

i have a fabia Vrs SE & it idles roughly sometimes altho the revs are still at 850

also quite often the revs will stick at anything between 1200 & 1500 & you have to dip the clutch & blip throttle to stop but if your stationary & it does it just by touching sometimes break or gas pedal it can stop....

also there is a black unit under bonnet up near screen on OSFront that could be some sort of vacuum unit as it has lots of pipes coming from it, well this unit vibrates for about 1min when you switch off, this has happened since new but has slowly got worse & over last 2 weeks this noise starts even when i'm driving!!!

There is no dealer near me & b4 it closed they dint have any answers

Can anyone please help???

Regards

oh and there are no fault codes ???

I think I had a similar thing with mine re: the revs.

It was a faulty accelerator pedal and Skoda replaced it under warranty. Quite a common fault as I've seen it come up 3 or 4 times on here. I'll see if I can find the threads.

I had this with mine, i sprayed the hinge with wd40 and its been fine ever since. Worth a try i guess!?
