hi all im planning a few upgrades over the next 6 months or so and was wondering do i have to be on stage 2 software to use an autotech pump? reason being once i get my first mods done i am planning a second trip to awesome gti to get stage 2 apr software loaded up but i dont fancy paying someone to fit the pump when im capable myself. im sure the guys would do a great job but id like to do it myself. so the plan would be to drop the pump internals in before i go down [its like 400 miles from me].

im going for a vf intake and stage one map next month, ive fitted a forge dumpvalve and will be putting in the diverter valve in a week or so. after that ill be going blueflame turbo back so ill be set for stage 2 early next year.

you can put the pump on on the standard map if you wanted, the HPFP will only deliver the fuuel it is asked to do,
