Hello to you skoda drivers

Just to introduce myself im matt from the 'golfgti.co.uk forum' i drive a mk4 1.8T aum engined golf -dont slate me cos its not a vRS

i'm posting on the bri skoda forum as i have been chatting to nick gower at r-tech power (as some of you may have meet or had your car mapped by them )

he has told me that some of you would be interested in an inter-forum meet so we think it would be good to have a bri-skoda/golfgti.co.uk meet at nicks new premises in hinckley the format would be 10 cars from yourselves + 2 reserves and the same for us over at golf gti therefore 24 cars in total where 20 would definately run and time permitting the other 4 also but they would run if any of the 20 drop out or dont run etc etc heres the post from golfgti forum Interforum R/R Day @ R-Tech 25/10/09

i will drop by on here over the coming weeks to see whats happening and to let you know final details etc

hope you can support this as it would be good for something different

iirc £35 for the 3 runs and a graph of your results have a look at this ECU Remapping, Performance Engine Tuning, R-tech

The date has been changed as the Golf boys seem to be struggling to work out what is happening.

I have just spoken to Nick @ R-Tech and confirmed the following details. These will not be changed.

Date: Saturday 24th October 2009

Time: 8:00 AM

There will be 3 power runs per car at a cost of £35.00.

There is a snack van around the corner from him and R-tech will be providing refreshments during the day.

Looks like I'm going to struggle with this now.. will make it if I can but I have a tenant moving into my rental property and have to deal with that.

Seems like everyone I have spoken to is a maybe/maybe not, you should have heard some of the conversations today lol.

If you can make it that would be great, there's only a few Skoda's going but I understand your priorities.

Can't believe it has been this hard to get people to go, it's cheap for a RR day :ne_nau:
