I was just reviewing some new Skoda press material, in particular the Octavia and Superb packs.

Now what I found interesting is that the Octavia weighs more on some engine combos than the Same engined Superb. The luggage is almost identical in litres. The L&K with a 140DPF costs more than a SE Superb 170 and only 500 less than the same engined (14) dsg'd Superb Elegance.

In fact between the two is a real minefield of comparible options.

For example the Superb SE gives dual zone air con and cruise control, but yields hill control and heated seats.

Anyway it's all very interesting.
