Doom 3 -How are we getting on?

Featured Replies

After August's mad frenzy of various folks trying "backup" versions of the game, who's actually brought it? Any problems getting it working and (between you and me) isn't it a bit repetitive as you go through the game? Brilliant graphics, fantastic ambient sound -but I'm really missing Half Life!

I completed doom3 in a week.. was a bit dissapointed tho :(

But ive got Counterstrike:Source now and thats bloody ace :D

cant wait until HL2, altho ive not decided if im going to get it from amazon or steam..

doom3 will be better as MP not single player. most games are anyway nowadays

where are these 'backup' copies?

I dunno where you find the time

I'm still on the Alpha labs boss, where I have no ammo for anything except the shotgun, and therefore, probably no chance of killing it. Good game, but I agree that its maybe a bit repetitive.

I'm into the second level of the Delta labs, but it's taken me a lot more than a week.....

The Alpha labs boss is a real beastie, especially with only a shotgun. Took me quite a few attempts to take the ugly bugger out, I can tell you!
