Does anybody know if it is easy to install front fog lights to a mk 2 Octavia that doesn't have them? I am getting a 55 plate Ambiente TDi next weekend and it doesn't have them

It depends whether yo want them to work or just fakish,the latter should be fairly easy to do but to make them work you have to replace the headlamp switch as that incorporates the switch for fogs as well,that alone would be expensive,wiring prep is not there so it's not just a matter of replacing switch,fitting foglamps,plug everything and ready,quite a job to do I'm afraid ......

they are just an added expense when stones go through them. They look good though, transforms the front end.

I was talking to Ben a while ago on this, and he thought the convieniance module would need replacing with something that was capable.

But that was an assumption, given that we was discussing this whilst out data logging at the time.
