hi i have a 01 fabia, the red light keeps coming on and an alarm comes on when the car reaches a certain temperature, i think its the oil light, it looks like a red jug, i changed the oil and it still comes on, anybody know why?

...then you shouldn't drive the car anymore, and should get it towed to a garage unless you're 100% confident you can rule out a dodgy oil pressure sensor yourself.

The oil pump may well be on the way out...

:iagree: Do NOT start the engine until you have the sensor checked out - sounds drastic, but the bill for a new engine will be really drastic:eek:
