Samsung Jet?

Featured Replies

Anyone any experience of this phone?

SWMBO's looking at it for her upgrade at the end of the month. Seems to be the replacement for the Toco?

I had a Tocco, it was rubbish & I gave it away.

I wouldn't recommend any Samsung tbh, it has to be Nokia for me.

Any phone that is not a Nokia or an iPhone is a waste of money and an annoyance.

SWMBO is on her 4th Samsung, and they're very good IMO. Not quite a Nokia agreed, but the next best intuitive replacement IMO. Better than SE or Motorola who's interface is clunky and laid out badly.

As for a pie phone, nothing there that other handsets cant do./havent done for years. Some cleaver PR wont work on me - or SWMBO. SWMBO borrowed her sisters 3G for a day and hated it. She doesnt want a piephone.

Have two Jéts (one with german sim and one with dutch sim).

Was a Sony Ericsson fan for a long time, dont need real pda phones (as my appointments are made for me and I dont have to carry them with me).

The Jét was a good alternative to the former SE phones.

Good thing about the Jét is the fast processor. It starts really quick and is easy to handle. Especially if one had a Samsung before. Also the change from SE to Samsung wasnt that difficult.

However, a Nokia addict will hardly be satisfied with another phone as a nokia (that is my expierience, a lot of friends tried other phones but returned to nokias).

The Jét is a complete phone that works. I dont use it that much, but they last a week with the battery (always on with the bluetooth on). Battery life will reduce though when used with wifi and as a mp3 player.

Overall I am satisfied with the phone(s). Easy to handle, quick response, good reception (better than the Eggphone) no hang ups or whatsoever untill now.

GPS is a nice feature but useless in the car without external GPS antenna. (totally useless if you have the laminated SunSafe glass in the car --> no reception at all)

Well that post is going to help the OP decide....it's full of useful opinion, fact and objectiveness
